Care and Support

Bentley Lodge Care and Nursing Home takes pride to see each resident as an important individual and all the care and support is planned to meet each resident’s individual requirements.
We have a large number of residents, who are funded by the NHS and we also work closely with the local adult social services.
Our Care Manager and clinical lead carry out pre-admission assessments. On admission into the Home, introductory health check and person-centered, individually tailored Care Plans are carefully compiled around the person’s individual’s preferences, wishes and choices.
Bentley Lodge Care and Nursing Home aims to deliver person-centered, individualized care packages for all residents. Individualized Care Plans and support plans are designed to ensure quality care delivery, tailored to individual levels of need; maintain self-respect, preserve dignity and respect, and ensure that residents lead full content lives.The Care Plans and Support Plans allow for personal preferences such as daily routine, food likes and dislikes, preferences, wishes and choices.

Care Plans also incorporate risk assessments and activity interest that the residents may have. Risk is an integral part of normal daily life and we strive to maintain our residents’ ability to make informed choices about their lives. We also encourage full involvement of the residents or their families in drawing up an appropriate Care Plans and Support Plans.
